I’ve always been asked how I do my makeup and though I’ve tried doing it live on Snapchat many times, it isn’t really easy to share with you how I prepare myself before heading out. Today I happened to talk to a very good friend who suggested I do a blog on how I do my makeup and while documenting the entire process seemed to be very long, I decided to break this segment on how I prep my face. Let me leave my eye makeup for another time as I experiment a lot with my eyes.
Today after the call, I realised I hadn’t yet used my new Baking and Strobing brush set from Sigma beauty (discount code below) that I recently received and decided to give it a go while doing my everyday makeup. I’d been waiting to use them after I got my hands on a Laura Mercier Loose illuminating powder but my friend suggested we can do baking with a compact powder too so here I am, visually documenting my face makeup process while baking and strobing to get that contour and highlight on point.
Baking and Strobing is basically contouring properly so that it appears as light is hitting our face at the right angles while making our face look more chiseled. I’m a huge fan of highlighting my face more than contouring and today using this new Brush set, I’m showing to you the products I usually use to do my makeup. Hope you enjoy this visual tutorial!
Here I am, with all my makeup for a shoot I did today.
